Kumbi Partners takes its name from Koumbi Saleh, an ancient city in the Sahel, situated along trans-Saharan trade routes and traditionally associated with the Ghana Empire.
In the eleventh century, the geographer Al-Bakri described the kingdom's prosperity, the importance of its commerce and its political organisation.This legacy of trade and institution-building inspires our purpose:to connect skills, capital and opportunities, encourage promising initiatives and contribute to lasting, shared prosperity.
